The steps required to be a licensed foster parent.

Documents required:

  • Driver's License for the primary applicants (single applicant or both married applicants)
  • ​​Social Security cards for all household members
  • Birth Certificate for all household members
  • All marriage licenses and/or divorce decrees for applicants (every marriage and/or divorce)
  • A copy of the most recent statements of all major bills (mortgage/rent, utilities including water, car/home/renters insurance, phone, cable, internet and all major credit card bills (no need if the credit card bill is paid off monthly)
  • Proof of insurance for all household vehicles
  • Pet vaccinations & Pet licenses ​
